The Foundation of Research in Clinical Endocrinology (Stichting Research Klinische Endocrinologie, SRKE) was founded in 1988 by the Dept. of Endocrinology of the Erasmus University MC.

The statues and bylaws of the SRKE specifically describe that purpose of the foundation is to promote scientific research in endocrinology, along with the explicit goal to promote education in endocrinology and metabolism in the broadest sense.

The board of the SRKE always consist of three professors in endocrinology of the Erasmus University MC and it’s activities are published yearly on the web. The SRKE is an acknowledged foundation that acts as a charity under Dutch law.
